We moved to Spain from Yorkshire in the UK in (about) 2003 and renovated a village house in Canillas de Albaida whilst building a house in the campo. Busy times.
About 4 years ago some friends decided to try ceramics and after a while I joined them. What a revelation. A legitimate, grown up version of mud pies and sandcastles! I loved it. There are moments of frustration when glazes don't work out and things go pear shaped in the kiln, but overall it is very satisfying. We bounce ideas off each other whilst keeping our own individual style in the group....and share a lot of laughs.

I was born in Salford, near Manchester in the UK in 1953 and attended Salford Art College for several years before following a career in graphic design with advertising agencies and design studios in the Manchester area.
When we built a house near Canillas de Albaida,
a studio and gallery below the pool were incorporated into the plans and this is where I now produce and exhibit my paintings and "paintographs".
Paintographs are simply photographs manipulated on the computer to give them the appearance of a painting.

Frames
Prints of paintings and Paintographs can be supplied in one of two frame styles I have in stock, rustic and black wood as illustrated. Or indeed any style the client wishes to choose (to order online).

From Canillas, take the road to Archez, turn right at the crossroads, follow the windey road down past the old mill over the bridge, up the steep hill and just after a very sharp right hand bend, take the track to the left, keep right in front of Finca El Cerillo and it's the first building on the right, opposite Casa Junio.
